Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I convert all of my Solana? / Why are my conversions failing?
To perform a conversion from any Solana asset to USDC, a small amount of Solana (SOL) is required to pay for the transaction fee on the Solana network. This is often referred to as "gas."
Because of this, you must maintain a minimum SOL balance in your wallet. If your balance is too low, you won't be able to pay the fee, and the transaction will fail. This also means you cannot convert 100% of your total SOL balance in a single transaction, as some must be left over to pay for the conversion itself.
Why can't I connect my wallet to the Monocle?
If you're having trouble connecting your wallet, please ensure that the wallet application you are trying to connect (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) is properly installed on your device. The Monocle needs to be able to detect and interact with your installed wallet to establish a connection.
Also, make sure your wallet app is updated to the latest version and that you have granted any necessary permissions if prompted.
Which wallets does Monocle support?
Currently, Monocle supports Phantom and Solflare wallets on the Solana network. We are continuously working to expand our compatibility.
If you'd like us to support another wallet, please send your request to our support team at support@monocleapp.xyz.
Which blockchain networks does Monocle support?
At present, Monocle fully supports the Solana blockchain network.
We are actively working on integrating support for the Ethereum network, with plans for its inclusion in an upcoming release. Stay tuned for updates!
